Shutting Down Our Link Directories
As of this morning we are shutting down our link directories articleweb.us, linkdir.us, and linkdir.org.
These directories were getting hammered with spam listings and were becoming impossible to sift through every day to find only one or two valid listings. We apologize to everyone who followed the rules and listed their great sites but once again the spammers ruin the day. HWC cannot afford to be listed as a spam directory as it would hurt search engine results to our other sites which are the lifeblood of the company.

Associate-O-Matic v4.2.0 Released
Associate-O-Matic v4.2.0 was released today. This is an important release as it incorporates changes in Amazon’s API. Come August 15, 2009 all prior versions of AOM will not work. Remember to upgrade your store software soon! With the update you need to register with Amazon Web Services (AWS), for free, to get your Amazon Access Key ID and Amazon Secret Access Key if you already don’t have one. If you were a basic user like me you probably just signed up for the affiliate program and not through AWS as well.
