This is an important release as it incorporates changes in Amazon’s API. Come August 15, 2009 all prior versions of AOM will not work. Remember to upgrade your store software soon! With the update you need to register with Amazon Web Services (AWS), for free, to get your Amazon Access Key ID and Amazon Secret Access Key if you already don’t have one. If you were a basic user like me you probably just signed up for the affiliate program and not through AWS as well.
